At the moment I’m working on a project in the north of Sweden.Travelling, living and working in a 608D Mercedes from ’73.
It’s a two-sided project. One part is an in depth followup built on the graduation project “ Lapponensis”-2009.In this part of the project I’m closing the chapters on the Racial Biology era that took place in the 19-20th century Sweden. The next step will be to research and Photograph the remaining scars of the Racial Biology in Sweden today -both in Landscapes and society. A search for a collective identity among the Sami-people today.
The other part of my project is a search for my own identity.
As I travel and meet old friends from my swedish youth, I try to look at their life now, as well as how I fit in in that specific life.
Participating as much as I can. Here I look at my landscapes and my society.
I’ve started a blog were you can follow me and my tour trough the North; EXPO39 /News.
